The theme of our next short story competition is microbes to the rescue! The deadline is 21st September and we ask for up to 3000 words of an entertaining short story that in some way shows what environmental biotechnology can do for us. Prizes of £500 for the winner (or local currency equivalent) plus runner up prizes. As this is a more technical spec, we are offering a free workshop to aspiring entrants on Monday 31st July 6-7pm where we will provide some more information, help brainstorm around any ideas you may have and answer queries.
